Portuguese Creative Cities Network Unesco

Work / The Portuguese Creative Cities Network Unesco & the creation of a new paradigm of sustainable development leveraged in Creativity.

The creative concept behind the logo arises from the name of the Portuguese Creative Cities Network. Word by word, symbolisms were revealed through Portugal, Portuguese people, our culture and our history, and the feeling of affection for our country. Whether through the colours present in our folklore – red, green, yellow and blue – or through the strength and dynamics that exist between the regions, which despite being close to each other, have their own dynamic and multiculturalism.

This MD3 STUDIO project was submitted to an informal competition for ideas to create the visual identity of the network of creative cities and was selected as one of the three best applications.
